About Think! energy

Vision

Think! Energy (T!E) means getting people to think about energy, talk about energy, and do something about our energy for now and the future. The first step in this process, or "Think!", can best be initiated through education, and leads to the equally important "Talk!" and "Take Action!".

Mission

In today's world, energy education is typically construed as education relating to energy conservation, energy efficiency, and renewable energy. All of these topics are very important; what they neglect, however, is an intelligent, balanced, and realistic discussion of the sources of energy. T!E seeks to bring a greater balance and thoughtfulness to the public discourse about energy by retaining the important educational messages of conservation, efficiency, and renewables, while at the same time increasing the focus on the question "where does our energy come from?"

PEOPLE

The National Energy Foundation administrative and field staff have been directly involved with natural resources education for more than three decades. Capable professionals with expertise and experience in developing and implementing curiculum that assure programs, such as T!E, are of the highest quality.

We enjoy hearing from you. Please e-mail us at info@nef1.org and we will get your message to the appropriate staff person.
